Description du produit
André Green is one of the most renowned psychoanalysts in the world today, and yet only a fraction of his work has appeared in English to date. This new monograph begins to fill this gap by providing the texts of five lectures delivered by Dr. Green to the Squiggle Foundation over the last ten years. The chapters are entitled: 'Experience and Thinking in Analytic Practice', 'Object(s) and Subject', 'On Thirdness', 'The Posthumous Winnicott: On Human Nature', and 'The Intuition of the Negative in Playing and Reality'. Together they provide a concise view of Dr Green's thought on such topics as the work of the negative, and also demonstrate its roots in the work of Freud, Winnicott and Bion, among others. The monograph also contains an Introduction by Jan Abram, the Director of the Squiggle Foundation, setting Dr Green's work in context and explaining the main currents of his thought.
